Welcome To Crater Lake National Park

One of the 7 Wonders of Oregon

RIDE THE RIM 2016 occurs on two days this year: Saturday September 17th, and Saturday September 24th.

On these days motorized vehicles are restricted from access to East Rim Drive. This means there are opportunities for non-motorized recreation. This is a great opportunity to get out and ride your bike, hike, or run without vehicular traffic.  There is no better way to see the beauty and pristine of Crater Lake than by bike or by foot as you ride/hike/run the rim.

On this website you’ll find answers to your most pressing questions, like where to park, where to stay, where to eat, what other cycling opportunities exist in the area, and more.

Check out our website for specifics. If you don’t find answers to questions you have, please use the Contact Us section and we will reply within 24 hours.

While the event is FREE to all, on September 17th you do need to pay regular Park Admission Fees to enter Crater Lake National Park. On September 24th; however, admission to the Park is FREE because that is National Public Lands Day.

Please sign up / pre-register on this site to let us know you’re coming. Registration is FREE, and for answering a few questions about where you are coming from and how you learned about this event, you will receive a commemorative RIDE-THE-RIM- Lapel Pin.
